What Happens During a Morpheus8 Session?
Morphues8 therapy begins with the application of a topical numbing cream to the treatment area(s). Additional anesthetic techniques and/or administration of Pro-Nox™ (a combination of oxygen and laughing gas) are sometimes also utilized to ensure the best possible experience.
Next, the handheld Morpheus8 device is moved over the skin as tiny micro-channels are created, through which the RF energy is delivered into the tissues. In an overlapping fashion, the treatment is provided to the entire area of concern.
Sometimes, multiple passes are utilized to achieve desired results. The process can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or more, depending upon the size of your symptoms.
What to Expect After Morpheus8
Recovery after Morpheus8 is minimal. Most patients report only mild redness, swelling, and pinpoint bleeding, which are temporary. A skin barrier (such as Aquaphor® or Bacitracin) is typically also used to provide protection.
Applying moisturizer and sunscreen is highly recommended in the days ahead. Most patients can return to work the day after their procedure.

While early effects may be seen as soon as a few days after a given treatment, they are cumulative.
