SculpSure® is an office based non-invasive fat removal procedure that utilizes laser technology. This laser is used to permanently destroy fat cells. The treatment is particularly effective for the abdomen and flanks, but has also shown great success in many other areas.
SculpSure® has gone through multiple clinical trials to ensure safety and is approved by the FDA. Unlike liposuction, this treatment requires no incisions and no anesthetics, since it is completely non-invasive. The procedure is fast, effective, and has no downtime afterwards so you can immediately get back to doing your normal activities.

SculpSure® can be utilized to remove unwanted fat in areas such as:
• Belly fat (the “pooch”)
• Love Handles
• Back fat
• Bra fat
If you suffer from unwanted body fat on your tummy, love handles, back, bra fat, arms or thighs, you may be a good candidate for SculpSure®. It is important to note that you should have realistic expectations for your results. SculpSure® is a procedure that contours the body but is not intended for losing weight and is not suitable for all patients. Results vary.
Perhaps you’ve heard of CoolSculpting, another non-invasive technique for fat removal. This competing technology has gained wide notoriety for its slogan “freeze the fat”. The CoolSculpting procedure involves applying a suction device to the treatment area. The tissues are then sucked into the device and cooled, essentially freezing the fat. After the procedure, the treatment area is massaged as it thaws out.
While the older CoolSculpting technology does work, there are several disadvantages associated with it when compared to SculpSure®. First, in a given area a CoolSculpting treatment takes 35 to 60 minutes to complete, whereas a SculpSure® treatment lasts about 25 minutes. In addition, the massaging process after CoolSculpting can be very uncomfortable – think of it like your fingers thawing out after being in the snow too long – they hurt as the feeling comes back. In the days following CoolSculpting, there may be some numbness or tingling in the treatment area (which may last days to weeks). Also with CoolSculpting some patients may have a noticeable drop off or “shelf” in the transition zone from the area that is treated to the adjacent tissues. None of these problems are encountered with SculpSure®.
