What to Expect During Your ThermiSmooth® Treatment
ThermiSmooth® treatments are incredibly easy to undergo. Prior to the treatment, the face will be cleansed of any oils, makeup, sweat, and debris. While sitting or lying in a comfortable position, cool gel will be applied to the treatment area. The ThermiSmooth® handpiece will then be applied to the skin’s surface and moved over the skin in a circular or sweeping fashion as the tissues are gently heated. Patients often report that the treatment feels like a warm massage. Treatments typically last 20-30 minutes.
What to Expect After Your ThermiSmooth® Treatment
After ThermiSmooth® you will be able to return to your normal activities. There is no downtime with ThermiSmooth®. After the procedure there may be some temporary redness over the treatment area – this goes away within a few hours. Depending upon the treatment area, you may notice some immediate tightening. Typically there is regression of results after the treatment, but continued improvement is most often seen after a series of treatments. At Beach Aesthetics, we recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart, followed by 3 more treatments at 3 month intervals.
